Not seeing missed call notifications from CallHippo? Don't worry, it's a quick fix! Here are some troubleshooting steps to get those alerts back on track:

  1. Double-Check Notifications: Head to your iPhone's Settings and tap "Notifications." Scroll down and find the CallHippo app. Make sure the toggle for "Allow Notifications" is switched on, especially for "Missed Calls."

  2. Background App Refresh: This lets CallHippo stay updated even when minimized. Go to Settings > General > Background App Refresh. Ensure the toggle for CallHippo is switched on.

  3. Restart the App: Sometimes, a simple refresh works wonders. Close the CallHippo app completely by swiping it up in the App Switcher (double-tap the Home button and swipe up on CallHippo preview). Then, reopen the app.

  4. Restart Your iPhone: This can clear up minor glitches causing notification issues. Just hold the power button (or volume buttons on newer iPhones) until the "slide to power off" prompt appears. Then, power your iPhone back on.

  5. Update the App: New updates often include bug fixes and improvements, including for notifications. Open the App Store, tap your profile picture in the top right corner, scroll down to see available updates, and check if CallHippo has one waiting. Update if needed!

  6. Check Do Not Disturb: Make sure Do Not Disturb mode isn't silencing notifications. Swipe down from the top right corner (iPhone X and later) or swipe up from the bottom (earlier iPhones) to open the Control Center. Look for the crescent moon icon - if it's lit up, tap it to disable Do Not Disturb.
