Steps to perform Shopify Integration in CallHippo:
Step 1: Log in to your Shopify Account.
Step 2: Enter the email and password credentials to login your shopify account.
Step 3: Go to the Apps and then click on App and sales channel settings.
Step 4: Next click on the Develop apps button.
Step 5: Next select the App if it has already been created. Else click on Create an app in order to create an app. Else skip to Step 7.
Step 6: Now give a name to an app and again create on create app and an app will be created successfully.
Step 7: Now one needs to Install the App. Make sure that in order to install any App, one needs to configure Admin API scopes or Review configuration.
Step 8: Select all the necessary scopes and click on save button.
Step 9: Now Install the app.
Step 10: Go to the settings > Development > App Development > API credentials. And copy the Admin API Access Token and store name.
Note: You can also modify your Admin API Access Token, under configuration.
Login to CallHippo
Step 1: Log in to your CallHippo account.
Step 2: Go to the left sidebar menu of your dashboard and click on Integrations.
Step 3: Select Shopify and click on Connect.
Step 4: A pop-up will appear, where you need to enter your Admin API Access Token and Shopify store name.
Step 5: After entering credentials, click on the Connect Now button and you will be redirected to the Callhippo integration page.
Step 6: If a call has been made on the Shopify contact from the Callhippo dialer then the call activity should be reflected in the particular contact.
Shopify Dashboard > Customers > Click on the customer’s contact > Notes.
Note: On Click-to-call/SMS, the contact will be synced with the CallHippo contacts.
Step 7 - Similarly, If an SMS has been sent/received on the Shopify contact from the Callhippo dialer then the SMS activity should be reflected in the particular contact.
Shopify Dashboard -> Customers -> Click on the customer’s contact -> Note.
Step 8: Call through the click-to-call extension.
Shopify Dashboard > Customers > Click on the customer’s contact.
After Call Work activity reflects in the Shopify
If you have a plan with CallHippo's Call tags and disposition service and the same has been enabled, than the activity being pushed in Shopify contains the tags and disposition data being added after the Call in the ACW screen.
Note: This sync only when the same has been performed on the After Call Work screen, In case if tags and disposition have been added later on using the Call logs or other feed than the same wont sync in the Shopify.
Features provided with Shopify integration:
- Contacts will be synced from Shopify to callhippo only if click to call takes place.
