Step 1: Log in to your CallHippo account. 


Step 2: Go to the left sidebar menu of your dashboard and click on Integrations.


Step 3: Select Help Scout and click on Connect.




Step 4: Now click on Connect Now to connect your Help Scout account.



Step 5: Enter your Help Scout username and password and click on the Login button, In case if you are already logged in than skip to step 6.



Step 6: After clicking on Connect your Help Scout, you will be redirect to a link asking to Authorize your Help Scout.



Step 7: Now Click on Authorize.


Step 8: Your Help Scout account is connected now. You will be redirected to CallHippo and get a message saying ‘Your account with Help Scout is integrated successfully.




Please Note that all the Calling/ SMS activities will be sent to the Email Box selected here:




Features of Help Scout + CallHippo Integration -


1. All your contacts that are now dialed using click to call will get synced with the CallHippo dialer.


2. Whenever you update a contact (customer in Help Scout) or add a new contact after integration, it will add in CallHippo dialer on performing      click to call activity.


3. You will get call activity whenever any call is made to or is received from any of your Help Scout contacts in the CallHippo dialer. Calling            Activity would get reflected -




4. You will get SMS activity whenever any SMS is sent or received from any of your Help Scout contacts in the CallHippo dialer.



5. Click To Call: If you want to use click to call then enable it first and than Click on the number and you would be able to call or SMS directly from here:



After Call Work activity reflects in the Help Scout


If you have a plan with CallHippo's Call tags and disposition service and the same has been enabled, than the activity being pushed in Help Scout contains the tags and disposition data being added after the Call in the ACW screen. 


Note: This sync only when the same has been performed on the After Call Work screen, In case if tags and disposition have been added later on using the Call logs or other feed than the same wont sync in the Help Scout.


Limitations of Help Scout Integration - 


1. If you delete customers (contact in CallHippo) in Help Scout, it will not delete in CallHippo you have to delete it manually.
