Steps to Follow in your SugarCRM account: 


1. Log in to your SugarCRM account.

    

2. Click on your profile icon in the top right corner.


3. Click on the "Admin" panel from the drop-down menu.



4. Within the "Admin" panel, locate and click on "OAuth Keys."



5. After clicking the OAuth Keys, In the sidebar click on the Administration and than click on "Create OAuth Keys."




6. Configure Your Key Details:

  • Consumer Key Name: Choose a clear and descriptive name for your key (e.g., "My Sales App"). This will help you remember its purpose later.

  • OAuth Version: Select OAuth 2.0. This version is recommended for its security and functionality.

  • Client Type: Choose Sugar User. This setting ensures compatibility with Sugar user accounts.

  • Consumer Key: This is a unique identifier for your key. Consumer Key needs to be entered as per your convenience. Copy and store it securely, you'll need it later.

  • Consumer Secret: This is a private key and crucial for security. Consumer Secret also needs to be added as per your convenience. Copy and store it securely, never share it publicly.



7. Once you've entered and copied both Consumer Key and Consumer Secret, click the "Save" button to finalize your OAuth configuration.




Steps to Follow in your CallHippo account: 


1.Begin by logging into your CallHippo account.


2. In your dashboard, navigate to the left sidebar menu and click on Integrations.


3. Locate and select SugarCRM from the list of integrations.



4. Clicking on connect button in SugarCRM, opens a popup as shown below where the following details needs to be entered:



  • Enter your domain name: Fill in your SugarCRM domain name. {The domain name can be found in the SugarCRM profile → Advanced → URL. Please note you need to copy text prior to sugarcrm.com for example if it is: https://sg-tryout.demo.sugarcrm.com then the URL needs to be entered as  https://sg-tryout.demo.sugarcrm.com in the CallHippo Integration popup.}

  • Enter your consumer key!: Enter the Consumer Key you created in SugarCRM.

  • Enter your consumer secret!: Enter the Consumer Secret you created in SugarCRM (remember to keep this confidential).

  • Enter your username: Provide your SugarCRM admin username.

  • Enter your password: Enter your SugarCRM admin password.




5. Once all fields are filled, click the Connect Now button.


6. You'll see a message stating "Your account with SugarCRM will be integrated soon. You will get notified about the same via email."



Enable Click to Call:

Integration Settings: 


Configuration: Based on the Toggle selection the click to call activity and sms activity will reflect in your SugarCRM account. 

You can also configure which type of call activity will be displayed in the SugarCRM activity section from below the Configuration section.



Connected Numbers: You can select for which numbers call and SMS activity should be logged from the below Connected Numbers Section.



Features of SugarCRM + CallHippo Integration


In order to start dialing in the Sugar CRM, click on the CallHippo icon besides the Phone Number in the Contact listing on Contacts page.




Clicking on the CallHippo icon: opens the dialer as shown below: 



1. SugarCRM contacts will be synced with the CallHippo dialer as a contact after click-to-call/SMS. 


2. Whenever a call is made to SugarCRM contact with the CH dialer then Call log activity will be synced to your SugarCRM contact detail page.


3. Whenever the SMS is sent to SugarCRM contact with the CH dialer the SMS log will be synced to your SugarCRM contact detail page.


4. If you'd like the call status from CallHippo to appear in SugarCRM, you'll have to set them up in SugarCRM too as shown below. To perform/add the same go to profile section --> Admin --> Module Builder --> call_outcome_list.



5If you'd like the call dispositions from CallHippo to appear in SugarCRM, you'll have to set them up in SugarCRM too as shown below. To perform/add the same go to profile section --> Admin --> Module Builder --> call_outcome_list.
