Setting up Odoo account 


1. Log in to your Odoo account with an admin account. Go to the settings -> Manage Users

2. Select the user which you want to use for integration



3. Go to the Access Rights tab. Please assign Administrator rights for all modules you want to integrate(currently CallHippo supports CRM and Recruitment modules).  
Under the Administration section please provide Settings rights.

Please note that, it is mandatory to have the following rights to integration users to work integration properly. If you have any confusion, Simply integrate with your admin user.



4. Create the contacts 



5. Click on Create button which is at the navigation bar






6. Fill in your details. We highly recommend to you fill name, phone number or mobile number and email address and click on the SAVE button which is the at the navigation bar


7. That’s all you successfully created contact 

In your callhippo account

1.Log into your CallHippo account.

2.Go to the left sidebar menu of your dashboard and click on Integrations.

3. Select Odoo and click on Integrate.


4. Now, before you fill that form. Go to your Odoo account and at the URL bar you will find your url copy that url (example shown below)




5. Now, go to callhippo paste url which you copied, type your Odoo email and password. For database paste your url and remove “https://” and “.odoo.com” (for example - db name of “https://self-employee.odoo.com” is self-employee)


6. Select your module. You can select both modules if you like and click on Save

7. That’s all, you successfully integrated Odoo

Features of Odoo integration:

1. All the existing contact and applicants (with phone number or mobile number ) in Odoo will be synced to CallHippo dialer.

2. Newly added contact and applicants will be synced within 4 hours.

3. Call and sms activity: CallHippo will create a new scheduled activity with mark done in respective contact or applicant, upon every call/SMS done through CallHippo dialer.


Call/SMS activity test cases:

CRM module:

  1. If any contact has an active pipeline opportunity (excluded won or lost opportunity), in that case activity will be sent to all active opportunities of that contact.

  2. If there is no active pipeline associated with contact, Call activity will be sent to the contact detail page only

Recruitment module:

  1. Call/SMS activity will be always sent to the applicant's details page.


Limitations:

1. Deleted contacts will not be deleted from CallHippo Dialer.
