What is Call Conference and how does it work?
Call Conference is a telecom feature that allows multiple participants to join a single phone call simultaneously. This feature is commonly used for meetings, discussions, or collaborative conversations involving more than two people.
Call conferencing is ideal for businesses seeking efficient communication among team members, clients, or stakeholders, regardless of their location.

Below are the steps to perform call conferencing through the CallHippo dialer:
Step 1: Go to CallHippoβs dialer - https://dialer.callhippo.com/dial and initiate a call.
Step 2: Click on Transfer/Add Call button
Step 3: You will be redirected to a new window where you will get three options to do the call conferencing with:
Sub-User: You can do call conferencing with a sub-user associated with your CallHippo account.
Contacts: You can do call conferencing with the contacts stored in your CallHippo account, or manually add a number for the same.
Teams: Likewise, you can do call conferencing with the teams set up within your CallHippo account.
Step 4: After selecting your desired option, such as a contact from your CallHippo account, you'll see the numbers/team members/teams to include in the call:
Step 5: Click on Transfer Now. The following screen will appear when initiating the call to the dialed person.
Step 6: Click on MERGE CALL. Once the call is merged, the below screen will appear:
Voila! You are now in a conference call with two participants. You can add more people by clicking the + icon.

β Check if all participants are using valid phone numbers.
β Verify that the call transfer/add call button is working.
2. Participants Unable to Join the Call
β Ensure they have network coverage or a stable internet connection.
β Check if they have any call restrictions (such as DND settings).
β Confirm the maximum participant limit (5 users per call).
3. Poor Call Quality or Dropped Calls
β Ensure a stable, high-speed internet connection (Wi-Fi or wired preferred).
β Reduce background noise or interference from third-party apps.
β Try switching to another browser or device.
4. Call Merge Button Not Working
β Refresh the CallHippo dialer and try again.
β Make sure Microphone and Call Permissions are enabled.
β Restart the browser and clear cache/cookies.
5. Call Recording Not Available
β Check if the call recording feature is enabled in the settings.
β Ensure you are using a plan that includes call recording.
β Contact support if recordings are not appearing in your account.
