The below is the difference between both the option:
Voicemail: If the caller does not receive the call and call forwarding is disabled, then the call will land on voicemail. The recipient can leave a voice message.
Auto-voicemail: The auto-voicemail option is available with Power Dialer. If the system detects an answering machine at the other end, it automatically drops a voicemail.
