You can follow these steps to activate your Gorgias integration with CallHippo and create tickets for each one of your calls/SMS.

  • Login to your CallHippo account.

  • Go to the Sidebar and click on ‘Integrations’.

  • Click on the CONNECT button in Gorgias box.

  • Once you click on the ‘Integration’ button, you will get one pop-up asking you to enter Gorgias subdomain (i.e your Gorgias account URL is “https://callhippo.gorgias.com” then “callhippo” is your subdomain). Enter the subdomain and click on the Connect Now button.


  • Once you click on Connect Now, you will be redirected to your Gorgias login page. If you are already logged in this step will be skipped. 


  • Once you log in you will be redirected to the permission page, here you have to click on the Authorize button.


  • Once you click on Authorize, you will be redirected back to CallHippo and display a message saying ‘Your account with Gorgias will be integrated soon. You will get notified about the same via an email’ and your integration status will show ‘Integrated’


  • So now you have successfully integrated your Gorgias account with CallHippo and your existing contacts are synced with CallHippo. 

Integration Settings  

Now your CallHippo account is successfully integrated with Gorgias and you will be redirected to the CallHippo with Integration Settings popup. In which you can customize the functionality of integration.

Configuration: 



  • Call Activities performed with a Gorgias Contact will reflected in your Gorgias account 
    If you have enabled this toggle, All the call activities that are performed on a Gorgias contact through CallHippo will be send to Gorgias for call statuses mentioned in the Pop up.

  • SMS Activities performed with a Gorgias Contact will reflected in your Gorgias account
    If you have enabled this toggle, All the SMS activity will log in to the Gorgias

  • How should call/SMS activity be sent in Gorgias?
    CallHippo provides 2 ways to send activity in Gorgias

  1. Add new Ticket - A new ticket will be created in gorgias for each call or SMS activity. This is the default option.

  2. Append a message to the most recent ticket - Call and SMS log will be added to the most recent ticket created by the contact. If there is no ticket associated with contact then CallHippo will create a new ticket 


 Connected Numbers: 

You can select for which numbers call and SMS activity should be logged from the below Connected Numbers Section.



Setup Webhooks in Gorgias:

  • To create a webhook in Gorgias Go to the setting menu -> select HTTP integration -> Add HTTP integration.


  • Please set webhook details as given in the image below.




  • In Webhook details fill the below given details
  • Integration Name - Callhippo Webhook
  • Select Checkbox Ticket Created
  • URL - Enter the below given URL and replace the Highlighted part with the User ID that you have noted down previously.
  • https://activity.callhippo.com/integration/users/60e6423423423432eae6955e2/gorgias/webhook/addticket
  • HTTP Method - POST
  • Request Body(JSON) -Send the entire ticket/message JSON
  • To get owner account UserID login to the CallHippo 
    Go to Users & Performance > Users > Open User settings of Owner user and copy the Highlighted part as shown below from the URL



After Call Work activity reflects in the Gorgias


If you have a plan with CallHippo's Call tags and disposition service and the same has been enabled, than the activity being pushed in Gorgias contains the tags and disposition data being added after the Call in the ACW screen. 


Note: This will sync only when the same has been performed on the After Call Work screen, In case if tags and disposition have been added later on using the Call logs or other feed than the same wont sync in the Gorgias.

Features of Gorgias integration:

  1. Your existing, new contacts(end user with the phone number) will be synced with CallHippo when Click to Call (C2C) action is performed on that contact.

  2. If any dialed number is not found on gorgias integration then a new contact will be created with that number.

  3. When a call is made with the CallHippo dialer a ticket will be created in Gorgias with call log activity.

  4. Whenever a SMS is sent with the CallHippo dialer. there will be a ticket created in Gorgias with SMS log activity.

  5. You can install CallHippo Click to Call Chrome Extension to call directly from your Gorgias ticket detail page.
