Notes:
- Who Can Integrate: Any CallHippo user with Admin access on both CallHippo and Gong.
- Time to Sync Data: Data synchronization is real-time once the integration is set up.
- Pre-requisites: Ensure you have an active Gong account with Technical Administrator access enabled.
Steps to Integrate Gong with CallHippo on the CallHippo Platform
Step 1: Access your CallHippo account.
Step 2: Navigate to the left sidebar menu on your dashboard and click on Integrations.
Step 3: Search for Gong and click on the Connect button.
Step 4: A pop-up box will appear — click on Connect Now. You will be redirected to the Gong login page.
Step 5: Log in to your Gong account. Grant the necessary permissions for CallHippo by clicking on the Allow button.
Step 6: After granting permissions, you will be redirected back to CallHippo. You have successfully integrated Gong with CallHippo!
Integration Settings
Connected Numbers — Select or deselect the phone numbers for which you want to pass call activities into Gong. (All numbers are selected by default.)
Activity Passed on Integration
Call Activity: An activity log for every call made or received on the CallHippo Dialer will be sent to Gong.
Note:
Call recordings will be imported for calls that exceed the minimum duration set in your Gong Admin Center. Only calls longer than the configured duration will have a recording synced to Gong.
To configure this, go to Gong Admin Center > Recording Settings > All Calls > Call Recording and set the minimum call duration in seconds.
