What Are Inbound and Outbound Calls?

Inbound Calls: These are the calls you receive through your CallHippo number. Customers or clients dial your virtual number, and the call is routed to your account or device.

Outbound Calls: You make calls to external numbers using the CallHippo platform.

Inbound Calling Charges

Inbound calling charges depend on the type of CallHippo number you have:

Standard Numbers:

Charges are applied based on the country where the number is registered.

There may be additional per-minute costs for toll-free or DID (Direct Inward Dialing) numbers depending on the plan and carrier regulations. Incoming call charges list Click here

Toll-Free Numbers:

Receiving calls on toll-free numbers incurs per-minute charges as the business covers the cost of the call. Incoming call charges list Click here

Premium Numbers::

International charges may apply if a customer from a different country calls your Premium number.

Outbound Calling Charges

Outbound calling charges vary based on the destination of the call:

Local Outbound Calls:

Calls made to numbers within the same country as your CallHippo number are charged at local rates. Outgoing call charges list Click here

International Outbound Calls:

Calls made to numbers outside the country of your CallHippo number are charged based on international calling rates. These rates depend on the destination country and are listed in the CallHippo pricing section. Outgoing call charges list Click here

Mobile vs. Landline Rates:
