Follow these steps if you encounter the error while using the dialer. β€˜Please make sure you Microphone permissions are properly Enabled.’


Step 1: Check Microphone Permissions in Browser

Google Chrome

  1. Open CallHippo Dialer in your browser.

  2. Click on the lock icon πŸ”’ in the address bar (left of the URL).

  3. Look for the Microphone and set it to "Allow".

  4. Refresh the page and try again.

Microsoft Edge

  1. Click on the lock icon πŸ”’ in the address bar.

  2. Check if the Microphone is set to "Allow".

  3. If blocked, change it to "Allow", then refresh the page.

Mozilla Firefox

  1. Open CallHippo Dialer and click on the microphone icon 🎀 in the address bar.

  2. Click Allow if the microphone is blocked.

Step 2: Check Windows/Mac Microphone Settings

Windows

  1. Go to Settings > Privacy & security > Microphone.

  2. Ensure Microphone access is enabled.

  3. Scroll down and make sure the browser (Chrome/Edge) has microphone access.

Mac

  1. Go to System Settings > Privacy & Security > Microphone.

  2. Ensure your browser (Chrome/Safari) has permission enabled.

Step 3: Restart Browser and Check Other Apps

  • Close and reopen your browser.

  • Ensure no other apps (Zoom, Teams, etc.) are using the microphone.

  • Try using Incognito Mode to see if extensions are interfering.

After following these steps, your microphone should work properly. Try making a test call.
