To change a sub-user's email address in CallHippo, you will need to delete the existing user and re-invite them with the new email address. Follow these steps:

Employee Transition: When an employee leaves and is replaced, updating the email ensures the new agent receives relevant notifications.

Email Corrections: Correcting typos or errors in the initial email entry ensures the sub-user can access their account.

Departmental Changes: If an agent shifts to a different department with a new email alias, updating their email maintains consistency.

Step 1: Log in to Your CallHippo Dashboard

Step 2: Navigate to the 'Users' Section

  • On the left-hand menu, click on 'Users & Performance'.

  • From the dropdown, select 'Users'.

Step 3: Select the Existing User

  • Locate the user whose email address you wish to change.

  • Click on the 'Blue colour gear' icon next to their E-mail id.

Step 4: Invite the User with the New Email Address

  • Click on the 'Edit' button.

  • Enter the new email address of the user.

  • As soon as the new e-mail id is added Click 'Save' to send an invitation to the new email address.


Step 5: User Sets Up Their Account

  • The user will receive an email invitation.

  • They should click on the link provided in the email to verify and set up their account.

  • The user can then log in to the CallHippo web or mobile app using their new credentials.
