Refer to the steps below to delete a user:
1. Log in to your CallHippo dashboard.
2. Navigate to the “Users and Performance” section towards the left of the screen and click on the “Users” option.
3. You will be directed to the page where you will be able to check the list of active users.
Click on the red delete user button, as visible in the screenshot.
4. Click on “Yes” to confirm the deletion of the user.
The user is now deleted from your account.
Important:
Deleting the user will not reduce your recurring billing charges, as the billing depends on the number of seats, and not on the number of active users.
You are still charged for the empty seat even if the user is deleted.
In case you are deleting the user to reduce your recurring charges, please reduce the number of seats in your account as per the steps below:
Steps to reduce the number of seats in your account:
1. Log in to your CallHippo dashboard.
2. Navigate to your profile section on the top right corner of your screen and click on the “Plan and billing” option visible in the dropdown.
3. Click on the “Plan” option visible on the left side of your screen and scroll down a little until you see the “Total seats” option as visible in the screenshot.
4. Use the arrow keys to reduce the number of seats or manually enter the number of seats you want in your account.
5. Once the number of seats is changed from the previously set number, the “Change Plan” button will turn red and become available.
6. Click on the “Change Plan” button to proceed.
7. A dialog box will appear showing the change in pricing when you need to click on the “Upgrade” button to finalize the changes.
Once done, the number of seats in your account has been successfully changed, and you will not be charged for the additional/empty seat from the next billing cycle.

Q: Will I lose the data of the deleted user?
A: No, deleting a user does not result in any data loss. All historical data, including call logs and activity associated with the user, remains securely stored in your account.

A: Yes, you will continue to have full access to the call logs and other data related to the deleted user even after they are removed from the system.
