Promotional credits are a type of credit added to your CallHippo account that can be used to reduce the amount you owe on future purchases or charges. They function like a prepaid wallet balance and are often provided as compensation or in place of a refund.
How Promotional Credits Work
Whenever a new invoice is generated, CallHippo will automatically apply any available promotional credits before charging your payment method.
For example, if your invoice total is higher than your available promotional credits, the system will subtract the promotional credit amount from the total due, and you’ll only be charged for the remaining balance. If your promotional credits fully cover the amount, no additional charge will occur.
This process is fully automatic—no manual action is needed from your side.
Note: Promotional credits are different from calling credits. While calling credits are used specifically for making calls, promotional credits are applied only toward billing-related payments.
Where to View Promotional Credits
Once promotional credits are added to your account, you can view the balance directly from your CallHippo dashboard.

2. Navigate to your profile icon visible on the top right corner of your screen, and then click on the “Plan and Billings” button.
3. You will be able to see the Promotional Credits right under the Calling Credits section, as visible in the screenshot.
