What is A2P (Application to Person)
A2P (Application-to-Person) messaging, refers to text messages sent from an application to a person's mobile phone. It typically involves businesses or services sending notifications, alerts, verification codes, or promotional messages to customers. A2P messaging is commonly used for one-way communication, where the business interacts with users via SMS.
A2P messaging services ensure compliance with regulations, optimize delivery speed and enable reliable communication between businesses and their customers.
To activate our Outgoing SMS service for U.S. and Canadian numbers, please provide the following information:
Your use case: Briefly describe how you plan to use SMS.
Sample message: Include a sample of the SMS message you want to send.
Steps to be followed
Step 1: Log in to the web app, then navigate to the Profile section. From there, locate the SMS Verification option, click on it, and submit the required verification details.
Step 2: You will be redirected to the SMS verification form. Follow the prompts and submit the required details step by step to complete the SMS verification process.
Note: You need to enter the exact details as per your business document, else the Brand of SMS will be rejected by the carrier.
Step 3: On the SMS Verification form, begin by filling in your Business Profile details as shown below.
Step 4: In the next step, enter your Contact Information.
Step 5: In the third step, enter your Business Address details.
Step 6: In the final step, review the form before submitting it. This allows you to double-check all the information and make any necessary changes.
Step 7: Once you have carefully reviewed the form, click the Submit button to complete the process.
Step 8: The final step is to register the Campaign Use Case (SMS content), where you need to submit the use case for SMS/MMS.
Note:- Use case stand for what type of SMS you are going to send to the customer and in which ways you are getting the customer's consent to send them the message
