Setup JIRA Account:
1 - Log in to your JIRA account.
2 - Click on Profile Icon and Go to account settings.
3 - Move to the Security section and Click on Create and Manage API tokens.
4 - Now Click on Create API token
5 - Add the Name and Expiry(Token Cannot last Longer than a year) and click on create
6 - Now click on the API Key tab and Copy the API Key.
7 - If a sub-user permission is set then JIRA sub-user sync with CallHippo.
i - In Account Setting go to Profile and Visibility section
8 - Scroll down and set this to Anyone.
9 - Now log in to your CallHippo account and go to the integrations tab.
10 - Select Jira and click on the Connect button.
11 - Enter the integration Email, API key and JIRA domain name then click on the “Connect Now” button
Integration status shows “Integrated”. Hurray!!! You have now successfully integrated JIRA with CallHippo.
10 - Now click the Integration setting icon to select the project and issue type for call log and sms log.
-Call Activities
If you have enabled this toggle and select a project and issue type, All the call activities will be Reflected in your jira.
-Sms Activities
If you have enabled this toggle and select a project and issue type, All the SMS activity will log in to the jira.

You can select the project and issue type for Call/Sms activity

Synced all JIRA users with CallHippo.
Whenever a call is made to the CH dialer, the call log activity will be synced to your JIRA issue page.
Whenever you send sms to the CH dialer, the sms activity will be synced to your JIRA issue page.
Whenever an SMS is sent to JIRA with a CallHippo dialer then the SMS log will be synced to your JIRA issue page.
Roles & Permissions to be enabled to create Tickets for Missed Calls in JIRA:
In order to make sure that the Roles & Permissions for ticket creation on Missed Calls are enabled in JIRA --> Below steps needs to be followed:
Step1: Click on the Settings on the Top Right Corner:
Step2: Select System from the settings menu in the Top right corner
Step3: Scroll the settings menu and select the "Permission helper" under the "Admin helper".
Step4: In the Permission Helper --> Need to provide the below details:
- Enter the user's name/ email for whom the permission needs to be checked
- Select an issue from the project or the issue you want to assign to them
- Change permission to "Assignable User"
- Click on Submit and run the permission checker
This will provide the complete summary and help us understand if any Roles/Permission needs to be assigned to the user.
NOTE: Make sure all JIRA's Subusers has JIRA software enabled and CallHippo email id's should match with any JIRA user and in JIRA subuser it should be active
