The Clone User Settings feature allows you to quickly replicate the configuration of an existing user and apply it to a new number with just a few clicks.
Why use Clone User’s Settings?
Setting up a new user from scratch can be time-consuming, especially when you want to maintain consistency across multiple users. This not only ensures uniformity but also significantly reduces the time and effort required to set up new users.

How to use the “Clone User’s Setting” feature?
1. Log in to your CallHippo dashboard.
2. Navigate to the “Users and Performance” section on the left side of the screen and then click on the Users.
3. Click on the settings icon of the user you want to update or apply changes to.
4. Navigate to the “Clone User’s setting” option and then click on the drop-down to see the list of active users in your account.
5. Click on the user from that you want to clone the user settings from.
6. Click on “Yes” to confirm the changes.
You will be able to see a message confirming the changes made.
Important Notes:
1. Cloning would not be done for the Forward to Device.
2. Cloning can not be done multiple times for a User.
3. After cloning is completed, changes made to a "From User" would not reflect in the "To User".

How to use the “Clone Number’s Setting” feature?
1. Log in to your CallHippo dashboard.
2. Navigate to the “Numbers and DID” section on the left side of the screen and then click on the Numbers.
3. Click on the settings icon of the new number, or the number you want to update or apply changes to.
4. Navigate to the “Clone number’s setting” option and then click on the dropdown to see the list of active numbers in your account.
5. Click on the number that you want to clone the number settings from.
6. Click on “Yes” to confirm the changes.
You will be able to see a message confirming the changes made.
Important Notes:
Cloning can be performed multiple times for the same number.
Once cloning is completed, any changes made to the From Number will not be reflected in the Cloned Number.
If a cloned number is deleted and later restored, its previous configurations will be automatically reapplied.
