Spam Watch is a solution that detects whether users' phone numbers have been marked as spam. Specifically tailored for phone numbers registered in the United States or Canada. This is offered as an optional add-on service. Utilizing Spam Watch, users can receive alerts or notifications regarding any instances of their numbers being spammed, empowering them to take necessary measures to uphold their call pickup ratio.
How to purchase the Spam Watch addon?
1. Log in to your CallHippo dashboard and navigate to the profile section visible on the top-right corner of the screen.
2. Click on the “Plan and billings” option visible in the dropdown menu.
3. Click on the “Plan” option visible in the screenshot and then scroll down a little.
4. To purchase the Spam Watch add-on, simply click on the respective checkbox. The Change Plan button will then become active (red), allowing you to proceed with the update.
5. The system will show a dialog box showing the prices applicable for ‘Spam Watch’. Click on “Yes” to proceed to purchase the addon.
Note: The addon charges are $2 per number/month. Total charges will be calculated based on the availability of US/CAD numbers in the account.
Steps to check the Spam Watch on your US and Canada numbers:
1. Log in to your CallHippo dashboard.
2. Navigate to the “Numbers and DID” section on the left side of the screen and then click on the Numbers.
If in Spam → "Yes" is mentioned → This indicates that the number has been spammed, and it is now time to take necessary action.
If in Spam → "Not Spam" is mentioned → This indicates that the number has not been spammed, and the number can still be used.
If in Spam → "NA" is mentioned → This indicates that the add-on does not apply to the number. We are checking the "Spam" status for US/CAD numbers only.
3. Get Notified via emails
You will be notified of the number being spammed via an email notification.

To prevent your other number(s) from being marked as spam, you can consider adding more numbers to your account and activating CallHippo's Auto Rotate.
