1. "Your account doesn’t meet the acceptance criteria for signup" or “high risk email”.

  • Lack of an Active Website: Your business email is not associated with an active website.

  • Limited Online/Social Media Presence: There is no significant online or social media presence associated with your business.

  • Domain Age: Your domain age might be very less.

Note: We're sorry, but we're unable to assist with the sign-up process, as it depends on system settings that we aren't able to override. We appreciate your understanding.

2. “Generic domain”

  • Our system is designed to ensure the security and authenticity of our users, and as a result, it requires the use of a business email address.

  • Unfortunately, generic email services such as Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, etc., are not accepted for sign-up.

  • To successfully register and access our platform, we kindly request that you use your business email address, preferably one associated with your organization, such as ta**@callhippo.com.

Notes:

  • We do not accept registrations from generic domains such as Gmail, Yahoo, or ProtonMail.

  • Please note that our services are currently only available to registered businesses. If you are a freelancer, we recommend exploring our platform once you have officially registered your business.

3. “Please sign up with a valid domain.”

This means the email domain you used isn't accepted by our system. Please try signing up with a different, more valid business domain.

Frequently asked questions:

Q: Why am I seeing the message "Your account doesn’t meet the acceptance criteria for signup" when trying to sign up?

A: This message typically appears if your email or business doesn't meet our signup requirements. Common reasons include having no active website, limited online or social media presence, or a recently registered domain.

Q: What does "high-risk email" mean during sign-up?
A: A "high-risk email" indicates that the email address you used might be associated with a high fraud score or suspicious activity, which prevents us from processing the sign-up request.

Q: Why can’t I sign up if my business doesn’t have a website?
A: An active website helps verify your business's legitimacy. Without one, our system may flag your account as not meeting our signup criteria.

Q: I don’t have social media for my business. Could that affect my ability to sign up?
A: Yes, a limited online or social media presence can be a factor in signup denial, as it makes it harder to verify your business's authenticity.

Q: Can I use a Gmail or Yahoo email to sign up?
A: No, our platform does not accept sign-ups using generic email domains like Gmail, Yahoo, or Outlook. We require a professional, business-associated email.

Q: Why do you not allow generic domain emails for sign-up?
A: To ensure security and prevent misuse, we only allow emails associated with a verified business domain, not personal or free email services.

Q: What if I only have a personal email?
A: If you’re using a personal email and not a business email, your sign-up request may be declined as our services are meant exclusively for registered businesses.

Q: Can freelancers sign up for CallHippo?
A: Currently, our services are intended for officially registered businesses. Freelancers can explore our services once they’ve registered a business and have a valid business email.

Q: Are there business types that CallHippo doesn’t support?
A: Yes, we do not support sign-ups from certain business categories like PC support, printer/TV-fix services, spell-casting, online toy stores, technical support, and others.

Q: What should I do if I’m in a prohibited business category?
A: Unfortunately, we are unable to offer our services to businesses in restricted categories and cannot override this system limitation.

Q: I have a business email, but still can’t sign up—why?
A: If you're still facing issues despite using a business email, the domain might be too new, or other factors like fraud score or business type might be affecting your eligibility.

Q: Can the sign-up restrictions be bypassed manually?
A: No, we are unable to bypass the system’s eligibility checks or sign-up restrictions. All users must meet the standard criteria to gain access.
