Global Connect is a helpful feature in CallHippo designed to make international calling easier and more efficient. It gives you real-time information about your contact’s local time and helps you confirm whether a phone number is valid before you dial. This means you can reach out at the right time and avoid calling errors, making every call more effective.

When you enter a phone number into the CallHippo web dialer (https://dialer.callhippo.com/dial), Global Connect automatically displays:

  • Country Flag – Visually confirms which country the number belongs to.

  • Local Time – Helps you know the exact time in the contact’s country (e.g., 06:56 pm).

  • Date – Shows the current date in that location (e.g., 29th Apr).

  • Day of the Week – Lets you know if it’s a weekday or weekend (e.g., Tue).

Example: As shown in the screenshot, entering an Australian number (+61) brings up the Australian flag along with the local time, date, and weekday in real-time.
 This real-time snapshot helps you plan calls during appropriate hours and avoid missed opportunities.

How to enable/disable the Global Connect feature?


1. Log in to your CallHippo Dialer.


2. Click on the 3 horizontal lines on the dialer and select the Menu option.



3. Select the ‘Settings’ option.



4. Click on the toggle to enable/disable the Global Connect feature.
