What is Global Connect?

Global Connect is a CallHippo feature that helps you make smarter international calls by showing your contact’s local time, date, and country and by validating phone numbers before you dial.

This ensures you call at the right time and avoid dialing invalid numbers.

How does Global Connect work?

When you enter a phone number with the country code in the CallHippo web dialer, Global Connect instantly displays:

  • Country flag

  • Local time

  • Current date

  • Day of the week

This information appears in real time, helping you plan calls effectively.

Why is Global Connect useful?

  • Avoid calling contacts too early or too late

  • Reduce errors caused by invalid or incorrect numbers

Example: As shown in the screenshot, entering an Australian number (+61) brings up the Australian flag along with the local time, date, and weekday in real-time.
 This real-time snapshot helps you plan calls during appropriate hours and avoid missed opportunities.

How to enable/disable the Global Connect feature?

1. Log in to your CallHippo Dialer.

2. Click on the 3 horizontal lines on the dialer and select the Menu option.

3. Select the ‘Settings’ option.

4. Click on the toggle to enable/disable the Global Connect feature.
