A User Extension is a unique three-digit number assigned to each user or sub-user within your CallHippo account. It allows internal team members to quickly connect with one another using the CallHippo Dialer, without needing to dial full phone numbers.

Where to check the User Extension?
1. Log in to your CallHippo dashboard.
2. Navigate to the “Users and Performance” section on the left side of the screen and then click on the Users.
3. Click on the settings icon of the user you want to check the User Extension for.
4. Click on the ‘User Details’ and you will then be able to check the User Extension as visible in the screenshot.
How do I make a call to a user using the User Extension?
1. Log in to your CallHippo dialer.
2. Clear any country code entered by default and just dial the 3-digit user extension.
3. The call will ring on the user’s dialer of whom you have just entered the extension.
4. You will be able to see the user extension and the user name on the dialer when making the call.
Note:
User Extensions are assigned by the CallHippo system by default and cannot be edited.
