Note:
Free trials can only be activated via the CallHippo dashboard, which is accessible only through a desktop browser.
You cannot start a trial via the CallHippo mobile app.
Step 1: Sign Up on the CallHippo Dashboard
Visit https://web.callhippo.com on your desktop browser.
Click Create Account and enter the required details, including your business email address.
Verify your email to activate your account.
Step 2: Email Verification & Eligibility Check
Once you sign up, our system automatically evaluates the email address you provided using multiple verification checkpoints. These include:
Domain age and credibility
Presence of a business website
Email address fraud score
Other security parameters
Based on this assessment, our system determines whether your email address is eligible for a free trial.
If You Qualify for the Free Trial
If your email address passes the verification checks:
1. Log in to the CallHippo dashboard using your desktop browser.
2. On the main dashboard, locate and click the “Start Here” button to activate your trial.
You’ll find this option prominently displayed at the top of the dashboard homepage. (Refer to the screenshot below.)
3. Click on the ‘Start Free Trial’ button.
4. Once a free trial is successfully activated, you will be able to see the trial details at the top of the dashboard, as visible in the screenshot below.
5. Later, follow the guided onboarding steps to:
Set up your virtual number
Set the number-user allocations.
Start making and receiving calls
You're now ready to explore all the key features included in your trial account.
Why Don’t I See the Option to Start a Free Trial?
If you're unable to find the “Start Free Trial” button after logging in, it may be because your email address did not meet our system’s eligibility criteria for trial activation.
To maintain the integrity and security of our platform, CallHippo uses an automated verification system that assesses email addresses based on several factors, such as:
The domain age and credibility of the email address
The presence of an associated business website
Fraud prevention and risk assessment scores
Other system-level verification checks
This process helps ensure that free trials are extended to genuine business users who are most likely to benefit from evaluating our services.
What You Can Do:
Option 1: Sign up again using a different business email address (preferably with a valid domain and professional presence).
Option 2: If you wish to continue with the same email, you’ll directly need to move to a paid plan to access CallHippo services.
