With Number Auto Replace, your number is automatically swapped for a fresh number every month. This helps improve your call pickup rate, since a number used for a long time can see lower answer rates over time. Once turned on, the replacement happens on its own between the 1st and 5th of every month, so you don't have to buy or set up a new number by hand.
Steps to turn on Number Auto Replace:
1. Log in to the CallHippo Dashboard.
2. Click on the Numbers icon from the left sidebar.
3. From the list of numbers, click the gear icon next to the number you want to update.
4. Click Number Auto Replace from the left menu, then turn on the Auto Replace Number toggle.
5. A popup will ask you to confirm. Click Ok to continue.
6. The toggle turns green, which means Number Auto Replace is now on for this number.
Note - Number Auto Replace is only supported for Twilio numbers.
Important Information
Number replacement happens automatically between the 1st and 5th of every month.
Number charges apply each time your number is replaced.
