What is Call Forwarding?


Call forwarding allows incoming calls on your CallHippo number to be automatically redirected to another phone number or device.


Call Forwarding Charges on CallHippo


Call forwarding incurs additional charges as it includes both incoming charges on your CallHippo number and outgoing charges to your personal number.


Here’s a breakdown of the charges:


1. Standard Number & Call Forwarding:

If the forwarded call is redirected to a local number within the same country as your CallHippo number, charges are calculated at the local per-minute rate.


2. Toll-Free Numbers & Call Forwarding:

If you are forwarding calls received on a toll-free number, you will also be charged for receiving the call in addition to the forwarding charges.


3. Premium Number & Call Forwarding:

Different rates may apply depending on whether the forwarded number is a mobile or landline based on the prefix.


4. Per-Minute Charges:

Call forwarding charges are calculated per minute, and the duration of the forwarded call determines the total cost.

How Does Call Forwarding Work on CallHippo?


You can configure call forwarding within the CallHippo dashboard by specifying the phone number(s) or devices to which calls should be forwarded under the user section of CallHippo.


Forwarding can be set on mobile phones, landlines, or other any number.
