If you are looking to activate your Bitrix24 integration with CallHippo, here are the steps you need to follow.


Setup Bitrix24 App:

Step 1: Login to your Bitrix24 account. 

Step 2: Go to the left side panel and click on Application -> Developer resources 


Step 3: Click on "Other" in the pop-up window.

Step 4: Click on "Local Application" in the newly opened pop-up window.


Step 5: Now fill the details as given below and click on Save button

  • Your application type must be Server.

  • In your handler path enter this URL https://web.callhippo.com/oauth/callback

  • Leave the initial installation path empty.

  • Select Script only checkbox.

  • In the Assign permission field select CRM, Telephony and Users (basic) (user_basic).



Step 6: After saving the application, Bitrix will generate a client_id and client_secret for your app. Make sure to copy and securely save both values.


Note:

  • Before proceeding with setup make sure you have Telephony enabled in your Bitrix24 account.
  • Bitrix24 telephony calling is available only for those Bitrix24 users who also exist in CallHippo with the same email address.

Integration setup with CallHippo account:

Step 1: Login to your CallHippo account. 

Step 2: Go to the left side panel and click on Integrations.

Step 3: Find Bitrix24 and click the Connect button under it. 

 Step 4: A pop-up will appear where you need to enter your Bitrix24 domain, client_id, and client_secret (copied earlier from your Bitrix24 application). Then, click on the "Connect Now" button.
  Note: The domain should not include https://. For example, enter: callhippo.bitrix24.in.

 Step 5:In the next step, you’ll be redirected to the Bitrix24 login page. If you're already logged in, the integration will start automatically and you'll be redirected back to the CallHippo integration page with a success message. The Integration Status will then be displayed as Integrated.

Setting Up Webhook:

1. Webhook for Data syncing:
Go to the left side panel and click on Application -> Developer resources 

Click on "Other" in the pop-up window.


Now, Click on "Outbound Webhook".



Now, fill in the details in the fields as mentioned below in the newly opened window :-

- Edit Webhook name - "CallHippo webhook"
- In URL field enterhttps://activity.callhippo.com/bitrix24/webhook
- In Event section select following events:

  • Contact updated (ONCRMCONTACTUPDATE)
  • Contact created (ONCRMCONTACTADD)
  • Contact deleted (ONCRMCONTACTDELETE)
  • Lead created (ONCRMLEADADD)
  • Lead updated (ONCRMLEADUPDATE)
  • Lead deleted (ONCRMLEADDELETE)
  • Company created (ONCRMCOMPANYADD)
  • Company updated (ONCRMCOMPANYUPDATE)
  • Company deleted (ONCRMCOMPANYDELETE)
  • Deal created (ONCRMDEALADD)
  • Deal updated (ONCRMDEALUPDATE)
  • Deal deleted (ONCRMDEALDELETE)
  • Adding a user to Bitrix24 (ONUSERADD)

After entering the above details, click the Save button.

2. Click to Call Webhook:
Go to the left side panel and click on Application -> Developer resources 

Click on "Other" in the pop-up window.

Now, Click on "Outbound Webhook".

Now, fill the details in fields as mentioned below in the newly opened window :-
- Edit Webhook name : CallHippo Telephony
- In URL field enter https://call.callhippo.com/api/v3/bitrix24/601c0000000000000f65e/dial
In the above URL, "601c0000000000000f65e" represents CallHippo Owner User ID. Replace this with your actual Owner User ID. To find it, go to the CallHippo Web App → Users, select the user with the Owner user type, and copy the last part of the URL.

In Event section select following events: External phone call start (ONEXTERNALCALLSTART)
After entering the above details, click the Save button.

How It Works:
Once you complete the Bitrix24 - CallHippo integration you can directly make calls from your Bitrix24 CRM.
Here are the simple steps to follow:

- Go to your Bitrix24 and search for Telephony settings 


Configure telephony -> Telephony Settings

- Default number for outgoing calls -> Set CallHippo Telephony 

- Make sure you have active login in CallHippo web dialer with the same account while making or receiving calls. i.e if you logged into Bitrix24 CRM with [email protected]. do login with the same email ID in the CallHippo dialer to make calls.



- You can click on the phone number on the contact/lead page to make calls. First call will be routed to the CallHippo dialer, and once the agent answers the incoming call, it will then be connected to the dialed contact.


- Once you hang up the call you the call activity will be automatically sent to the respected contact/lead timeline.

Bitrix24 does not support SMS activity. If you need SMS activity, please contact [email protected].
